just when everyone was doubting whether owen should be the man pairing shearer...well he's just proved everyone wrong with a goal and a man of tha match!!

i'd now wonder who'll be the permanent partner for shearer for euro2000...heskey or owen,??
my impression is that keegan will choose owen

There is no doubt in my mind that it will be Owen. KK said that if Owen was fit that he would play and the guy has proven his fitness. He played so well against the Brazillians and showed that he can up stage the best (i.e. Rivaldo).
The problem for me is tht he will be knackered again when he comes back from the competition.

On the future England patnership I think that it shoulbe be Owen and Heskey. The thing is that they did lose form for the pool towards the endo of last year but all is well now.
