I wonder, why there has not been a topic about it here so far

Tarkans song for our nationalteam is out! It shall be a "supporting motivation"-song for our players and Turkey at the WC in Japan.

the lyrics (it is the "Tas"-melody):

I don`t write the translation cause it wouldn`t be perfectly correct.

I love Tarkan`s music. I love all his CDs and I think he made a great song!!!

Hope it will be a little motivation at least !!

I saw the "clip" the first time yesterday on Star TV. It shows Tarkan infront of a crowd of "fanatic" supporters. There is a part where he is singing: "Zir deliyiz biz" (the turks of course:tongue: ) and that`s not untrue! I also want to go to the WC !!

one thing is confusing: "o kupaLAR helal sana"
I thing ONE kupa should be enough

HakanK, they`ve asked first Muslum baba to make a song for the WC, because he can motivate the people much better than Tarkan - jilet falan (zirdeli) - but he didn`t want

Yeah we can all grow our moustaches in time for the World Cup (you too Esperar) since most of the world still thinks we all have them (and the tespis and fezes ). I'll also take my nargille...

I did plan to go to the WC this summer, but it didn't work out unfortunatly. Trust our boys to qualify when the tournaments not in Europe:depress:

And as I've mentioned b4, if you believe in omen (not the movie) then playing in Korea should be a good one. A say this 'cos our only ever WC win in our history was against Korea in '54.

The melody is the melody of the song "ta$". The lyrics are new.
"Ta$" is a song from the LP "KARMA" (Tarkan) released in sommer 2001.

I think everyone knows "Karma", and "ta$", too

it has an oriental melody... it has rythm - I like it!

there were rumours that he is gay. But Tarkan never confirmed it. He had a lot of girls and has now a girl.

I don`t think it`s very important. I don`t care if he would be, I would keep on buying his albums...
