He achieved the highest ranking of his pro career, 95th in the world at 19 years old. Hopefully the kid continues to progress.

Djokovic is still at No. 1, Djere has moved up to a career high No. 31. Lajovic is No. 44, Kecmanovic is No. 95 and Krajinovic, after a long layoff had a great Indian Wells losing to Nadal in the Round of 16 and coming up to No. 103 in the world. If Krajinovic continues in this manner he'll get closer to the top 30 again.

The big challenge is for Djere to sustain his recent success at 23 years old, and for Kecmanovic to continue his development and reach the top 50 by the end of the year.

Also, Janko Tipsarevic got a wildcard in Miami for the Masters 1000 coming up next week. He could face Djokovic in the round of 16 if both of them get that far. Other Serbs in the main draw include Lajovic, Krajinovic, and Kecmanovic.

There's no Nadal in Miami so Nole might get to play Federer in the final.

I feel like Djokovic uses the Masters these days to get into shape. I expect upsets along the way for him until he reaches Rome then he will try and gear it up and peak at the right moment

I think he was more focused on doubles than singles...

How man matches has Nole won when a match was interrupted and finished the following day?

Janko Tipsarevic - won in the 1st round, playing Bautista Agut in the 2nd round. 2:2 in the first set.

Dusan Lajovic - took out the trick Pablo Cuevas in the 1st round, and after dropping a set to Nishikori came back and beat him 2:1 to reach the 3rd round (final 32). Huge win for Lajovic who plays Kygrios in the next round.

Filip Krajinovic - took out Phillipe Hubert in the 1st round; facing Wawrinka tonight in the 2nd round. Good test for him to see where his game is currently.

Miomir Kecmanovic - took out the very experienced Gulbis in the 1st round in straight sets; taking on American sensation Frances Tiafoe in the 2nd round today, someone he knows really well. Kecmanovic is looking like our next great hope.

Novak Djokovic - plays Bernard Tomic in the round of 64 after a 1st round bye.

Laslo Djere - is not playing in Miami. Probably getting ready for the clay court season after an extensive hard court run of tournaments.

Crazy to think we'll have 6 players in the top 100 soon enough.

For the first time in Serbia's tennis history, we have 4 players in the top 30 in the world which is an awesome feat for a country that has a population of less than 10 million. We also have Kecamnovic who is an excellent prospect and should be climbing up slowly himself. Would be nice to win one more Davis Cup before this generation moves on.

Golds in Judo & Rowing for Serbian athletes:

Nemanja Majdov takes gold on final day of IJF Baku Grand Slam

Serbia's Nemanja Majdov won gold in the men's -90 kilogram on the concluding day of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Baku Grand Slam.
The 2017 world champion defeated home favourite Mammadali Mehdiyev at Heydar Aliyev Sport Hall to triumph.
Bronze went to Hungary's Krisztian Toth and Spain's Nikoloz Sherazadishvili.

World Rowing Cup: Martin Mackovic and Milos Vasic clinch gold in men's pair

Martin Mackovic and Milos Vasic of Serbia upset world champions Martin and Valent Sinković to clinch gold in the men's pair as China claimed four victories at the World Rowing Cup in Plovdiv.
Mackovic and Vasic broke clear of the formidable Croatian pair and crossed the line in 6min 34.050sec to top the podium.
The Sinković brothers were forced to settle for silver in 6:36.030, while bronze went to Spain's Jaime Pazos and Javier Garcia.

Current Serbs in top 100 -

1. Novak Djokovic
31. Dusan Lajovic
32. Laslo Djere
69. Filip Krajinovic
84. Miomir Kecmanovic

Djere just had a good Madrid masters losing in the round of 16 to Cilic after beating Lajovic and then Del Potro. He has started the Rome Masters in good fashion by beating Kukushkin in the round of 64. Up next he plays Basilashvili in the round of 32. If he beats Basilashvili, he'll most likely face Rafael Nadal in the round of 16 which would be a great test to see where his game is at. If he takes down Basilashvili, he should crack the top 25. Djere is consistently improving and I hope his confidence can take him to the next step of his career getting into the top 20. This would be the first time since Troicki or Tipsarevic that we would have 2 Serbs in the Top 20. Djokovic meanwhile is due to play the young Canadian Shalopalov in the round of 32 after a first round bye.

Once done here, all focus will turn to Roland Garros in late May/early June.

Serbia beat cromos in water polo 11-10. Very poor game where Serbia was down all game and then took a 9-6 lead in the 4th only for the cromos to tie it up until 2nd last shot by Serbia. 2-0 in group play. Winner gets a spot in the Olympics
