It's not Valencia CF, but the Valencian "NT".

Normally I want the Valencian NT to win their matches, after all half of my blood is from this country, but I truly hate how the bastards "blavers" use this match for their victimist catalanism and their politcs filled with lies. So this year: "Força Hristo and Força Bulgària!"

Visca el Pais Valencià... Mort a la Comunitat Valenciana, al Regne de València i als putos blavers :finger:

Aquesta és la nostra senyera!!

who are the "blavers"??
The "blavers" are the people who lives in the Pais Valencià that says that Catalan and Valencià is not the same language (which is as ridicule as saying that the Spanish from Spain and the Spanish from Argentina is a different language). These people are conservatives and anticatalanists, they deny any link between Catalunya and the Valencian Country, which is silly... this people deny any scientific and historical fact to defend their "theories".

This is their flag:

It is the one that I have to stand every day here. This flag means nothing to me, because it's the flag of the CITY of Valencia, which is not my city and I don't see why someone from Alacant should be represented by it. I don't care what the ****in' blavers think, but our flag is the flag of the old kingdom of Aragon, which is the one that has kept Catalunya.

But this is our guilt... the ultra right didn't want the Aragon flag (senyera) and the left let them use the flag with the blue stripe (blaver, comes from "blau", blue in Catalan) to avoid discussions.

They will play in Mestalla, just to annoy you :D ;)

I only know the coach will be Benito Floro :yuck:
Yeah... as always, well actually, knowing that the majority of players are valencianistas, in any other place, they could be booed. In Alacant, Elx, Castello, Alcoi or Vilarreal there is a big antivalencianismo. I'm sure that this match would be ignored here in Alacant... even in València, I don't expect a huge attendance.

Actually, it this matches have sense in places with a big national feeling as Catalunya or Euskadi, out of these places, the success of these matches is low.

I know, I know... in fact, I wouldn't have noticed this match if zeifod2 hadn't created this thread. My only wish is that Valencia players don't get injured.

Umm... I was wondering what relationship between Valencia and Barcelona for yellow and orange and both in Aragon before. But I didn't know get the "blue". Thanks for your explanation. I'm reading materials about Spain history. One thing annoying is English name and Spanish name mixed together without notice. For example, Saragossa (local) means Zaragoza (English)? Or there is such a place? And the country was once called "The Great Spain" by the end of 16 century for holding great amount of colony aboard?

What about another team in Valencia? They use blue and red the same as Barca.

Hope you didn't mind my silly questions.

'Saragossa' is Catalan, and 'Zaragoza' Spanish. In English they say the last one because it's more known, I guess.

About the other team of the city, it's Levante, but I don't know if their colors are taken from Barcelona (and they took them from Basle) or it's just a coincidence.
