The "blavers" are the people who lives in the Pais Valencià that says that Catalan and Valencià is not the same language (which is as ridicule as saying that the Spanish from Spain and the Spanish from Argentina is a different language). These people are conservatives and anticatalanists, they deny any link between Catalunya and the Valencian Country, which is silly... this people deny any scientific and historical fact to defend their "theories".fc barcelona said:who are the "blavers"??

Heh... we'll see, man, we'll see :thmbup:zeifod2 said:It doesn't matter, in either case we will beat you
They will play in Mestalla, just to annoy youKoeman4 said:Setzer, do you know the team that they're going to use? Where is going to be played? I've never seen them playing out of Valencia.
Yeah... as always, well actually, knowing that the majority of players are valencianistas, in any other place, they could be booed. In Alacant, Elx, Castello, Alcoi or Vilarreal there is a big antivalencianismo. I'm sure that this match would be ignored here in Alacant... even in València, I don't expect a huge attendance.Setzer said:They will play in Mestalla, just to annoy you![]()
I only know the coach will be Benito Floro :yuck:
I know, I know... in fact, I wouldn't have noticed this match if zeifod2 hadn't created this thread. My only wish is that Valencia players don't get injured.Koeman4 said:Yeah... as always, well actually, knowing that the majority of players are valencianistas, in any other place, they could be booed. Actually, it this matches have sense in places with a big national feeling as Catalunya or Euskadi, out of these places, the success of these matches is low.
'Saragossa' is Catalan, and 'Zaragoza' Spanish. In English they say the last one because it's more known, I guess.Ivan Helguera said:Umm... I was wondering what relationship between Valencia and Barcelona for yellow and orange and both in Aragon before. But I didn't know get the "blue". Thanks for your explanation. I'm reading materials about Spain history. One thing annoying is English name and Spanish name mixed together without notice. For example, Saragossa (local) means Zaragoza (English)? Or there is such a place? And the country was once called "The Great Spain" by the end of 16 century for holding great amount of colony aboard?
What about another team in Valencia? They use blue and red the same as Barca.
Hope you didn't mind my silly questions.
