Nice schedule, good chance to see some b-ball during the summer for those of us who will be there.

Top 2 qualify as well as the 4 best third placed teams.

Now give us your full analysis DZ and other experts. :D I see a fair number of younger players there like Nedovic, Musli, Andjusic, Jaramaz, Milutinovic, Lucic. Also slightly older newcomers in Dabovic and Jeremic.

Who's missing from the list except for guys like Milicic?

Novica btw very important for Real towards the end of the season. Good news for our NT as last year we missed him a lot.

The one negative that I've noticed so far is that whenever the game goes into a bit of a faster pace he gets really gassed after 3-4 minutes. He will definitely fix that though, just has to keep working hard.

I think its great that our kids are taught skill and technique from a young age but we also have to start getting serious about strength, speed and stamina training or we will fall behind other nations. We always struggle with rebounding and perimeter defence, most of our players are too weak and slow to keep up with the top international players. That has to be changed starting from the grassroots level, there is no reason why a nation as athletically talented as ours can't produce those types of players.

Just look at a guy like Raduljica, he is huge but doesn't play that way. Being physical isn't as important to our coaches as having crafty post moves or a good shot is but it should be. In our semi final vs Lithuania we got bullied and beaten up, the same thing will happen until we change the system.

The step backs Jokic hit over DeAndre Jordan tonight were pure sex.
Jokic leads all rookies in efficiency with a PER of 22.13.

Haven't bought a NBA jersey in a while, I think it's time for a new purchase.
Jokic vs. Marjanovic tonight - both starting!
Bobi was playing well too bad Pop doesn't trust him for more than 5 minutes yet.
Ben Simmons
I find it depressing that a 27 year old European superstar is labeled a "rookie". :(
European superstar or a NBA ****ing nobody, depends on how you look at it.

Towns is a generational player.
Towns right now is averaging 13 points and 9 rebounds, which is very respectable for a rookie. He's obviously going to be a good player in the future.

But are those numbers (or his performance) good for a supposed generational player? Meh. Generational player doesn't come in to the league green like your typical rookie, he doesn't post half decent numbers, and spends a year or five learning the game. Generational player comes in the league and plays like a superstar from day 1.
Bobi with 34 points and 16 boards in the D League game tonight. Give it till about Febuary and he will be constantly in the rotation.

18 pts on 8 of 10 shooting against another d league team tonight
He dunked on 2 guys it was great.
Was there any point of him being sent to the D league?

He's came from somewhere where much more serious basketball is played (Euroleague).

Why are the 76ers so bad? Over and over again?
To get him game time instead of just sitting on the bench?

76er's are awful cause of their back office. Absolutely shocking organisation

Not every player comes into the NBA and is a superstar in their first season.

Perfect example is Kobe. Wasn't even a top 10 pic and was a raw talent.

Towns is going to be special. He also isn't getting a lot of minutes (coach is scared if he pushes him too hard, he might suffer injury--happens to a lot of rookies, especially tall ones).
I think when all is said and done, Towns and Porzingis are going to be HOF'ers from this draft class.

Most European players struggle getting up to NBA pace of play. DLEAGUE is known for fast pace of play to help players transition to NBA style

If there's one coach you should trust and believe in, it's Pop. He's made gold out of trash before. I'm sure he's going to make Boban into a servicable NBA player if he continues to work hard.
Problem is, most teams play small ball nowadays which is why Boban doesn't get a lot of minutes. Philly plays with a lot of big men. Fortunately, less experienced than Boban which is why he balled tonight. You won't see that too much for the rest of the season.

Jokic on the other hand......he's a serious prospect.
Marjanovic is super skilled for his height, but he just lacks the speed and quickness to stay on the court and not be a liability defensively for more than 15 minutes.
That's what people said 2 years ago but he improved no end to the point where he could lock down the paint.

Of course the NBA is different due to the Defensive 3 seconds and the level of the game there, most significantly athletically but without being exposed to it more then he'll never get used to it.

He'll need time and I'm sure everyone is aware of that, just not sure him playing in the D League is the right way to go about it because those players just aren't good enough to exploit his weaknesses.

There've been plenty of comments that he's quicker than they actually thought.
