woowooowooo calm down
first of all no one took my cms position away from me. i stepped down on my own. the management wanted me to stay so they returned my access to the cms forum hoping to change my mind. when i said i'm sticking by my decision to step down i was even offered a position of xt consultant which i also turned down. apparently from the inside info i got whilst they were trying to change my mind i was also supposed to be up for admins position so to say that management took my position away because of what i said in ugly side is plain wrong.
my departure has nothing whatsoever to do with ugly side of football thread. unlike most of you who met fr and calcio & crew just recently i've known them for years and have been discussing things with them for years, so i knew full well who am i dealing with and if it never bothered me throughout past almost 3 years don't see why they should start now. so we disagree ok, so what? thats not a reason to leave.
the reason why i'm leaving is because in these almost 3 years i've been here xtratime went down the drain. general level of activity in the forum went down to one third of what it was back in 2005 & 2006 (thats the actual stats i'm leaking from cms forum). back then it was about 90 000 posts a month, now its about 30 000. an interesting discussion pops up like once every 3 months the rest is just stuff everyone saw countless times before. even in here. does olic suck? should niko kovac be in the nt? are just some of the examples.
add to that the fact that our new owners are doing jack shit to fix even the smallest technical issues. for example about that annoying ad which produces sounds, they've been told about on multiple occasions and still 2 weeks of constant complaining later the ad was still there and we got 0 feedback from them. all they care about is just filling the site up with ads i mean we've got ads all over the place.
basically i don't know why to keep coming here to this forum filled with ads, technical errors and on a lot of occasions a slow server when i'm not even going to run into an interesting discussion.
