Friedel lands four-year deal with Rovers

Brad Friedel, the goalkeeper who helped the United States reach the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time in 72 years, on Friday agreed to a new four-year contract with the Blackburn Rovers of the English Premier League. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Friedel displayed similar heroics for the U.S. in the World Cup as he showed throughout the 2001-02 season for Blackburn. In South Korea, the Lakewood, Ohio native became the first keeper in World Cup history to stop two penalty kicks during regulation play.

Congrats Spider-Man !!!!! :cap:
