Liverpool welcome West Brom to Anfield determined to put their first league defeat of the season behind them.

The Reds went down 2-1 at Spurs last time out and Rafael Benitez will be looking for an immediate response from his players against the Baggies.

The hosts endured a frustrating afternoon when they drew 0-0 with one of the other promoted sides - Stoke City - back in September, and the Anfield faithful will be expecting nothing less than the three points this time around.

The Baggies last came to town in December 2005 when Liverpool claimed a 1-0 success to notch up a 10th league win in a row.

This time they will be looking to claim another victory to mark the beginning of a similar run of triumphs.

we need to keep our fighting for the title. this game will be at home and against the baggies... we must win!!!

i think alonso has made impressive performing for more than 4 or 5 games in row and seemed a bit tired last night against atletico. it`s time to let lucas start this with mascherano.
4-1

Yea alonso played well, great passing, i think that riera also looked a bit tired against athletico, wouldnt mind giving him a breather against the baggies
yep.

i`m here not asking for rotation policy but sometimes in such games, you need to rest those tired players. e.g, to start with lucas(alonso) and ngog or babel instead of keane.( who still hasn`t the big impact.. )

and if we can`t beat the buggies with or 3 changes, then no doubt there is a problem.
Liverpool (from): Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Hyypia, Aurelio, Dossena, Benayoun, Babel, Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso, Pennant, Lucas, Kuyt, Torres, Keane, Riera, Cavalieri.

West Brom (from): Carson, Kiely, Zuiverloon, Hoefkens, Barnett, Donk, Olsson, Robinson, Cech, Morrison, Greening, Koren, Teixeira, Valero, Brunt, Miller, Bednar, Moore, Slusarski, MacDonald, Pele

el nino may start the game.
I am always fearful against weaker opponents. When u want the boys to give them a thumping, it always ends up 0-0 or 1-0.

When u least expect it, the boys can beat manure and chelsea. :pp

I'll go for...

Liverpool 4
Wba 0
i predict a win for our team. we have a great record against them 100%, 6 wins out from 6 games.

we must win the 3 pts.
Reina, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Agger, Carragher, Mascherano, Gerrard, Kuyt, Benayoun, Riera, Keane

Bench: Cavalieri, Hyypia, Torres, Alonso, Babel, Insua, El Zhar.

I'm guessing Keane alone upfront with Benayoun behind him?
We are top of the league and you bastards are asleep?

Anyhow, easy 3-0 win at the end, we struggled in the first 20 mins or so but then starter to get going, got a goal and the rest was history.

Keane finally delivers, not only did he get 2 goals, his overall performance was what we expected when he was signed, I really think he's going to be a big factor i those games against weaker teams where we usually drop points.

One thing that worries me is Babel's form, he's an important impact player for us but has been poor in recent games, good thing is that we finally got a genuine winger in Riera.

Good to see Torres get a few minutes aswell.
Decent performance, fairly sloppy early on but improved and had a deserved lead at half time, boring 2nd half, just a really comfortable win. Nice goal from Arbeloa and Keane's two goals were well taken.

Hmm I'm really gutted about the Spurs loss still, should have won that and be 11 points clear of United with easy fixtures coming up, but not to be oh well, we've had our luck this season I suppose, we needed to have a game of bad luck for sure along with the Stoke game. Good day today, only disappointment was the Bitters getting a few late goals against the Hammers.
happy with the win, but we sat back a bit in the 2nd. really pleased with arbeloa's finish, and robbie's too. just a solid display, nothing fancy.

arsenal did us a world of good today, i hope we take em out when we're head to head. now for chelsea to drop some points...
great win for pool. what a finish by arbeloa!

hopefully, this means keane's confidence is sky high and he can consistently perform the way we all expect him to.

i'm predicting a 1-1 draw for the chelsea match tomorrow
Great win, great to see Torres back and especially Robbie scoring two!

(Anyone remembers Crouch? :D)
It was a good game. I'm happy with the score and our performance. Great to see Keane finally get of the mark in the EPL, 2 well taken goal.
Happy with the win

Lets go beat Spurs in midweek
we looked like a machine from the minute 30th to the 65, great subs Torres, babel and xabi, everybody had a decent game, MOM Keane, the crowd was fantastic, there is a good vibe in the air.
with all due respect to west brom, but i see it wasn`t a difficult win for our team. of course the most important thing was the 3 pts which put us top of the league. hopefully to see chalsea drop against blackburn.

nice to see keane scored twic in this game and thankfully to gerrard and aurelio`s impressive passes.

congrats. :)
