Paul Ince plays host to one of his former clubs as Liverpool look to maintain their push at the top of the Barclays Premier League.

The ex-Reds skipper has endured a difficult start to life as a topflight manager but will be keen to get one over on Rafa and co to help boost his side's flagging fortunes.

On our last visit to Ewood Park we were held to a goalless draw but with Rovers struggling, and Chelsea just one point behind at the top, Liverpool will hope to capitalise on their woes by claiming all three points.

yea, mantud couldn`t invest their dominating on the game till the last minute (vidic92`). sunderland did a good defending game, they were looking for a draw.
I don't rate him but I felt a bit sorry for Dossena, put in his best performance in a red shirt against West Ham then got dropped... Insua however was very good, solid in defence and always making himself available in attack, as he gets more games under his belt and starts growing in confidence I think he can own that left flank like Clichy does for Arsenal, quite excited to see how he can link up with Riera.
agree with your post.

What's the odds he, Insua, doesn't play the next game though?
it`s important point. dossena did well vs west ham and dropped in this game, insua got a chance vs blackburn and may not start next week.
anyway, may the best to play.

& thank god we kept Xabi Alonso, been a class above all season.
yea, he is showing better performance than last season, more consistent and has scored some goals too.
SM, same, don't rate dossena... it just seems like he isn't adapting to our style so much. great physically but not my type of defender. He had a good game v West Ham, but still, reminds me of Riise too much.

Good win, we left it late but we're bucking the trend a bit. Alonso has been great this season, I just wish he would be a little more offensive from now on. He was way too reserved against West Ham. Should have been ripping those scapel-like passes the whole game.
