I think that younger players (U20) can have a longer contract ... BUT maybe it's internal rule I am pretty sure that I have read it somewhere that in Italy contarcts can be 5y max.

I used to play CMYeah, in FM (the gamep), the maximum you can offer is five years.
But we always read that players in Spain sign for much longer.
Iker Casillas recently signed a NINE year contract!

FM is a copy of CM. The only major difference is that in FM you don't up banckrupt.I used to play CM

I just hope that there isn' another contract extension at least until 2011.

I think the injuries and the fact that he was the goto guy for so long have affected him a bit. I think his focus is unwavered, but the injuries have affected him too much. Shame about Ronaldo, but thankfuly Pato is paying off to carry some of the technical burdens that our other forwards have placed on Kaka's shoulders.

Yes of corse, that also. However, becoming a father can be very emotional they say. I dont know about that, I dont have any children. Perhaps you know this better, congratz BTW, a bit to late.
Cheers. As you said it is emotional, and the lack of sleep iszzzzzzzzzzzzzz, sorry dozed off there. Seriously he might suffer some sleep loss, he may look at his baby in the middle of the night in awe and amazement, but I think it'll help him to refocus, and be more determined.
Just hope he likes coffee.

Great news for me.. I was waiting for it!! Although no report tells exactly how much Ricky will be taking yearly, its a smart move from the club in such time!!
Kaka' hasn't been playing like himself this year, I agree, and obviously this knee pain is extremely annoying, but I recall last season he started the 2007 with an injury, and came back slowly, didn't score for 7-8 weeks, and only woke up at the home Celtic return Leg with that sweet run and classic finish !!! And by the end of the year we all know what happened so Dagoods, you can stop pretending you're an expert, and jut worry about your own players!!
