sorry for the off, can please someone tell what is the Croatian for "good bye", "hello", "have nice day". Writing a letter to a freind in Croatia, wanted to surprise her :hopefull:

Actually my entire family from Dubrovnik speak that dialect so it's not so strange to me. Although when I travel to my father's side in Zadar I have to switch back to Dalmatinski.

they're not...but they are a regional dialect we use sparingly...

Uf, anyway my Croatian friend said that was O.K. :relieved: Luckily your language is not difficult to understand as it resembles Russian a little bit.

Yeah but Russian sounds very very very soft to us...our accents must sound rough to the russians..

Yes, you pronounce sounds more distinctively. Can i ask again: how to say "have nice trip and drive safe" :)

Good Bye = Zbogom
Hello = Zdravo
Have A Nice Day = Imajte Ugodan Dan

thank u teachers:) you are being really helpful. My friend wonders where i found teacher of Croatian:) may be in spring i'll go to Croatia and will have chance to use these phrases.
Dind't catch what does "bolane" mean? Like "dude" in English?
