And, sorry to once again be "cruel" to transfer speculations, this Numan thing was actually reported last season...

There may be some truth in it, but I got a feeling that the papers are digging up news from the archives.

the latest i heard of numan was that he said he'd be glad to come to l'pool soon as he has only one more year on his contract at rangers...

i've seen him play only a few times and he seems pretty good...
but i think lizarazu is the best of all 3..
then maybe sergi..but sergi is about 27-29 while lizarazu is 31

It's reported that Numan wants to go to Liverpool because of it's magnificent atmosphere. That reason sounds nice, but most of it is just fancy talk. Now bid was put on the table so for now it's nothing serious. Lizarazu was Liverpool's main target for left-back right?, in contrast though, Numan is also an outstanding left-back, he'll be back for Holland during Euro 2000, Liverpool may after that be seriously interested.
