The NSL regular season has finished and now the finals will begin next week. First here is a look at the final Top 6.

Perth Glory 55 (Minor Premiers :cool: )
Newcastle United 42
Olympic Sharks 40
Brisbane Strikers 37
South Melbourne 37
Melbourne Knights 36


Now the finals fixtures:


Elimination Finals 1st Leg

Sunday 14 April:

South Melbourne vs Brisbane Strikers
Melbourne Knigths vs Olympic Sharks


Major Semi Final 1st Leg

Saturday 20th April:

Perth Glory vs Newcastle United


Elimination Finals 2nd Leg

Sunday 21st April:

Brisbane Strikers vs South Melbourne
Olympic Sharks vs Melbourne Knights


Major Semi Final 2nd Leg

Friday 26th April

Newcastle United vs Perth Glory



The winners of the Elimination final will progress to the Minor Semi Final to be held on the week ending April 28.

The winner of the Major Semi Final will host the Grand Final to be held on May 12, with the loser hosting the Preliminary Final on May 5.

The winner of the Minor Semi Final will progress to the Preliminary Final.

the return leg of the Olimpic Sharks v Melbourne Knights match will be a cracker.....no doubt about it. I will be there along with hopefully a s**tload of Sydney United fans aswell as the hardcore Melbourne Knights supporters.....it's gonna go off just aslong as Olimpic dont win by 2 or 3 goals down in Melbourne. :D

I hope Sth Melbourne knock off Brisbane....i think that will happen. I find it surprsing that both Olimpic and Brisbane have chosen to play leg 1 away from home. Perth have played it smart by hosting the first leg...i good win should see them host the final.
