Maybe Giraudo is in favor of a playoff now... while it's still at a safe distance away, but if it actually happens and Lazio beats Juve, he may regret ever having said it. 
But I agree that it would be the best way to end the season, just let the top two teams fight it out. I only pray that such a match would not also end in a controversial way.
As far as this ending all the insinuations goes, that may be to wishful thinking. I don't think these insinuations will just disappear after the playoffs... regardless of who wins.
Amo, did you expect Giraudo would admit Juve influenced the ref?
