Not ridiculing this time

Disclaimer: Ok so I was gonna open this thread when I remembered all the other threads I started here in the past, so there was a worry that noone would take it seriously (cry wolf and all). Just wanted to clarify that for once I'm not making fun of you and I'm actually posting quite seriously. :)

With that out of the way.. I was fortunate to find some tapes of old CL matches, think it was called "Uefa Champions League, the best matches" or something like that (Japanese production). Essentially just highlights of the most eventful moments. And since I hadn't seen much of that material before, it was great to be able to see it now. The early stuff (92-96) was from a time when I didn't even follow the game. I was very impressed with most of the games they showed but among them of course Milan. First of all, Massaro, I never thought of him to be much more than a Luca Toni but he was quite spectacular, wasn't he? And that goal of Savicevic is my favorite all time CL goal, since many years ago. It was funny also to see Capello in his coaching youth, completely emotionless everytime Milan scored. Oddly enough, Van Basten didn't make much of an appearance in terms of goalscoring in the finals.

Well I know that this will be followed by giant posts of Payman and Haroon (even Huffman can't handle them) so I'll leave it at that for now.

As for Van Basten ... :( I will never understand why so much bad luck went with the best of them all. Why it didn’t go with Jurgen Koller or Matheus, for example. Or Andi Moller, or Brehme ...
Dont be so cruel, 3 out of the 4 u mentioned were already stroke by the bad luck of living without a working brain ;) (Brehme, Möller,Mätthaus).

But who is Jurgen Koller? The bastard son of Jürgen Kohler and Jan Koller?

To answer your post directly. The first final was in 92/93, Van Basten got his injury late in 1992 at which time he scored freely in the UCL games. His only game in 1993 was the one against Marseille in the final, he hadn't recovered fully and it would end up being his last competitive game for Milan. I guess that answer the other years too.

jebote diavolo zna sta je dobro!!!!!
As great and provvidential that Massaro was, to me, he was the main culprit for the 93 loss against Marseille by missing at least 2, if not 3 very easy goals....:sob::groan:

And that I would not easily forget it nor forgive him as being a Milanista in France while every one else or almost was a Marseille fan, at the time was hell...:groan:

Didn't/don't have time to read the whole thread, if anyone can summarize it, I'd be grateful...

Cheers.;)

Chinese (trad&simp) 2. Japanese and 3. Ukrainian to eachother. Oh yeah, and Lav talking Swedish. That's about it.

PS: you might want to alter your sig a bit, I've heard chicks are highly susceptible to those type of quotes... ;) :lala:
