Norwich could welcome back Gary Holt after he had fluid drained from his chest, but Thomas Helveg (calf) and Youssef Safri (ankle) are still out.

Ian Henderson (heel), Simon Charlton (toe), Darren Ward (knee) and Mathias Svensson (knee) are missing too.

Middlesbrough midfielder Ray Parlour is back from a one-match suspension.

Ugo Ehiogu faces a long layoff with a knee ligament injury, so veteran Colin Cooper will partner skipper Gareth Southgate in the heart of defence.

Norwich (from):
Green, Edworthy, Fleming, Doherty, Drury, Huckerby, Francis, Brennan, Jonson, Ashton, McKenzie, Mulryne, Jarvis, Shackell, Crow, McVeigh, Holt, Gallacher.

Middlesbrough (from):
Schwarzer, Reiziger, McMahon, Cooper, Southgate, Queudrue, Parlour, Nemeth, Zenden, Doriva, Downing, Hasselbaink, Job, Nash, Parnaby, Bates, Morrison.

Well it seems most likely that another defeat is on the horizon ... :depress:

but I must stay positive and as we are at home we have to be looking at getting something from this game.

The best I think i can hope for is a 1-1 draw, but I predict a defeat :depress:

what a game that was, must be one of the comebacks of all time Premiership combacks.

4-4. At 4-1 Boro with 12 mins to go, I was thinking it was all over.

Well done Norwich.
