It would be great to get Meira. It certainly would improve our defense. However I think that Tomas can be an outstanding player upfront as well. Heynckes needs to have more faith in him. As far as starting two young guys back there, I am leary. I think you do what Sporting did, have a rock like Cruz to help out Beto. Remember Beto was not half as good as he is now until Cruz came in. I say keep Madeira and let's see how he does, and what he does to help out the young defensive guns.
