Lazio are among the various teams that are bidding for Inter Milan's Roberto Baggio.
And the team's captain, Italy's top defender Alessandro Nesta is enthusiastic about the idea.
Nesta said: "I heard that he might be coming to Rome and I'm hopeful."

If it happens,then it will be like a dream come true to me.coz' i like Baggio so much,espcially when he played in world cup 1994,and also when he played in Bologna.he is one of legends in Italy.next season we will play in 3 championship,so i think we need many players to make a turn over just what Ericson did last season.then Baggio is a good sollution for this,because he is a great striker and i don't think he will cost expensive for lippi doesn't like him and

I have always respected him as a player/He has brought alot to the game..If he plays with Lazio that would be great but I think he is leaning more towards NAPOLI>

Remember that his contract with Inter has ended. I think he is still one of the greatest italian players (surely better of the one that has scored 1 goal in a season ) and he deserved the national team. If Cragnotti will call him Baggio will come because he wants to play the CL.
