Milan ace Alessandro Nesta is set to spend the next 20 days on the treatment
table because of injury.

The stopper limped out of the 3-1 win over Juventus on Sunday and tests have
confirmed a muscle strain in his right leg.

There were fears that he could be out of action for up to a month but boss Carlo
Ancelotti has received some reassuring news today.

Medics believe that he will be sidelined for a maximum of 20 days even if he may
be ready in just two weeks.

The former Lazio star will still miss some crucial games though, including the
Champions’ League quarter final against Deportivo La Coruna.

He is now also a major doubt for Italy’s international friendly against Portugal
at the end of this month.

Veteran stopper Billy Costacurta is set to replace Nesta in the Milan side until
he returns to full fitness.

A bit Injury prone this season Nesta.:(
