I know that they dont really play the same position, but who do you think is better?

Nedved might play for a slightly harder league but that didt make him invisible.
i dont' really follow berger's games but both of them are C. Repulician and play for famous clubs.

What do you guys think?

For the national side I think Berger has been better. He seems to play especially well when with the Czech. Nedved - wouldn't mind the pool getting him but little chance. He's a superb player and really impressed me last season. This year he is not as good but still better than most players.
Berger, however has scored some stunners this year and at important times so I think Berger is the most valuable player for club and country.

I agree, I'd like to see Nedved at Liverpool as well. Berger has had his best season at Anfield this year, and his work rate is second to none.
I'd have to say Berger nudges this one.

Nedved can't come to Liverpool too beoz of the EU rule. The Reds already have 4 non-EU players in the side, and are trying to discard Brad Friedel without much success.

If you ask me the same question last year I would say Nedved,but this year its definitely Patrick Berger.Nedved is still in my opinion the best left winger in Seria A but Berger this year have put everything on fire...he scores constanlty screamers and his work rate is equal to a defencive midfielder.

I envy the Chezchs for being able to field two so classy players.

i would go for berger...
both are very talented players but berger has a much higher work rate and that's the main reason why i prefer him..
also berger's form this season cannot go unnnoticed!

lazio will only sell him if they get a good replacement....i think man utd offered 11million pounds for him

I like Nedved very much but I have to say Berger too. He really has scored some stunning goals but next year Nedved might be better.
Sorry to say but I don't think that Lazio wants to sell him. He has been great this season too. He scored twice in the last national.

How can you be so sure that Nedved WILL be better than Berger? Berger is obviusly more skilled than Nedved,and now that he found his form and plays at his favorite position under a manager he likes I really dont think he will let it out again...as long as Berger plays at his full cappabilities,Nedved is not better.But its still a close call.

The thing that I didn't like about Berger when he came was his inconsistency and his work ethic. Both have improved dramatically under Houllier but Evans should get thanks for bying him and not Poborsky.......now who did he go to????

It just goes to show that Man U buy on the basis of one bit of skill and not consistency.......wonder if they'll buy Campo
