Oh don't worry, the way Sacchi and Tanzi are planning Parma is going to make profit next season. I can't see it happening differently since we're going to sell all our best players for big money and buy noone...

These jerks are not even willing to buy Ferrari's second half, so the case will go to the envelopes and we can loose him. Not to mention that they still have not signed Adani, and he only costs 3 million euros or so... how lame.

We havent had a decent team for two years now. Nor a decent coach for that matter. What annoys me is that they don't admit straight forward that they couldn't care less about Parma's team as long as they don't loose money. I mean seriously, we have been linked with wonderfull players like Andreas Andersson and Alex Manninger.

In the end, we'll have a crap team, we might end up 9th and we'll have all the management say "hey, we finished better than last season!".

This is not my idea of Parma. I can understand making a young team and cutting the costs but this is not made by selling one of the best young goalkeepers in the world, despite even his will. Nor being reluctant to make a signing of 3 million euros in order to replace a defender who is leaving for 35 or so... Nor that you don't buy other half of Ferrari, nor that you allow an option on Maccarone expire...

Unless Prandelli is a magician (which he isn't), we're going to see a very lame Parma next season, and on top of that we'll have to bear with them telling us we're on the right course...

I have no problem with Cannavaro and Di Vaio going. Especially since they want it. But Frey and Lamouchi want to stay and also had great seasons... I just dont understand what Sacchi is thinking. Moreover, Benarrivo is going to be allowed to leave, something which is extra-dumb. If Juventus can win a scudetto with a 36 years old Ferrara then why can't we keep Benni who every time he plays is among our best players? Instead, we're going to see the return of Gianluca "The Sheep" Falsini. Other names that should excite us are Julio Cruz, Alex Manninger and Simone Barone. Cheap and useless, but cheap nonthe less.

And duh, of course we won't be worse than this year. But does this really tell us anything positive? Above us this season they were Atalanta, Perugia and Torino. Are we in the same rank as these clubs? If yes, then I suppose we're doing what they do, sell our best players and celebrate when we escape relegation. This season should be a bad break, not the basis for our ambitions. Two seasons ago we were 4th, and all that with Ulivieri...

Yeah, Barone was a sub at Chievo though and as for El Jardinero... he isn't exactly what you'd call a "gun", right?

I just want a team which with the right team play and philosophy could compete in an adequete level (ie at least have some hopes to be among the top 4). I don't expect us to be like Juventus or Roma, we can't, unless we spend a sh!tload of money and get a real coach, but we were supposed to find another way than Lazio's (for examble) to build a competitive team. Lazio is going the big money way, but Parma was supposed to go with youth and wise investiments. All this is good and nice, but selling someone like Frey is a crime for this. Overspending is much different than being cheap.

If the Tanzis do not want a succesfull club then they can go for all I care. Someone less rich would take us and I would accept being at the status of Bologna or Udinese. But I can't accept that we are owned by one of the biggest companies worldwide, property of a man who is among the ten richest people in Italy (Cragnotti, Sensi and Moratti are not even close to that) and we are selling everything we have, thats just no game.
