Only goal difference separates us from the Rent boys now so no margin for error here. Rooney will be back for this one I think, dunno about Vida.

Prediction: 3-1 United, Tevez and Ronnie with a couple.

I think everyone knows the deal but i'll just repeat, win here and against Wigan away from home the following week and we'll be Champions again.

As Fergie put it to the Scummy press on Monday, "Disaster". :pp

If united can ride on the feelgoodfactor wave they should win this game. An early goal could open the floodgates (and would be much appreciated). Fergie should be looking to play 2 up front (tevez and rooney) no point in holding anybody back now!! Wudnt be surprised if united won and newcastle did us a favor on monday (although wouldnt want to be relying on them!)

An early goal, and it'll be a hammering. If no goals till HT, hopefully pressure doesn't get to the players, as it could lead to desperate long ball football.

Should be a comfortable win, if the players play at a decent level and keep their cool. Anderson will play from the start in this one though, so that is great news:)

Curbishly said he won't play his first team which is impossible anyways since half his team is injured and no Solano this time thankfully.
My prefered line-up.

Vidic out, Rooney sub

Wayne Rooney could be among the substitutes for United's vital Premier League clash with West Ham on Saturday at Old Trafford, but Nemanja Vidic will be missing.

Rooney has been struggling with a hip injury sustained in the 1-1 draw at Ewood Park last month.

He featured in Barcelona and at Chelsea last weekend, but was substituted in both games and subsequently sat out the Champions League semi-final, second leg victory over Barca last Tuesday.

Sir Alex says he is making good progress with his recovery, but with a Champions League final looming large, the United boss will not be taking any chances.

"Wayne may be on the bench," revealed Sir Alex at his pre-match press conference. "But we've got a major final to think about and we're not going to rush him."

Vidic, meanwhile, should be fit to face Wigan next Sunday after spending the next few days recovering from concussion sustained in an accidental collision with Didier Drogba last weekend.

Sir Alex also confirmed Patrice Evra, who was stretchered off in injury time against Barca, is fit to face the Hammers

Same as Tuesday then, would have thought Anderson would come in but ah well.

Just get the job done lads.

NB. This pre match build up has been very quiet, everyone still not recovered from Tuesday or something? :D

2-0 Ronnie gets his 30th PL goal and 40th overall of the season scoring through his thigh.

And Tevez just finished the game off with a thunderbolt outside the box, no celebration from him, classy. :)
