Birmingham striker Clinton Morrison has accepted a Football Association charge of improper conduct and requested a personal hearing.

The charge followed an incident during the Premiership match with Bolton on 4 January when Morrison was seen to push defender Nicky Hunt to the ground.

The offence came after a flare-up between Emile Heskey and Bruno N'Gotty.

Referee Uriah Rennie did not see the incident but said he would have booked Morrison had he observed the push.

The FA has the power to impose a one-match ban but it is more likely that Morrison will escape with a fine and a warning about his future conduct.
