A loth of you here is mad at di vaio and not respecting him. I think he deserves respect because without him we would be in serie B. He has saved us so many games this years. Here some of the games;

Perugia home Di Vaio scores in the 93 minute. 2-1 parma

PARMA - FIORENTINA he score a beutiful goal. 2-0 to parma.


VENEZIA - PARMA Di Vaio scores a hattrick and gives us 3 new points!!

PARMA - LAZIO He scores the only goal and 3 points are ours!!

PIACENZA - PARMA He saves us again in the last minutes.

PARMA - UDINESE Thanks Di Vaio!

FIORENTINA - PARMA: has anyone forget about this game???? =)

Every player that scores 20 goals earns respect, even if he misses some chances! And remember, you have to work for those chances first!

And nobody knows what would have taken place if we didn´t sign him. He could play somewhere else and could score aswell, so I´m very thankful that he scored these goals for us and I pay him a lot of respect! :stuckup:

I respect Di Vaio for what he has done for use, scoring those goals... He was important for us in this season..

But to say that he deserve the chance to be in the national team, I dont think so... He is still not good enough I feel.. Still behind the likes of Montella, Vieri and Inzaghi...

I would wish him all the best if he leaves us, but I wont be that disappointed...

I said I resprect him for the goals he has scored but him himself I don't like. Many times he has looked at Parma as a stepping stone and a club which he will leave if a better offer comes along. I think the should pay back some respect as Parma signed him when he was no-one he should stay here and work hard for being given that chance IMO.

You don´t need to like Marco Di Vaio, he isn´t my favourite, too, but I think he earns respect for his performance(like you said now, too )

On the other hand(you are right) he has to respect what the club has done for him, and that´s not little. It´s sad but nowadays there aren´t many players like Baresi, Maldini, Benarrivo or Sanchis anymore, who stay at their home club for all their career and become real symbols of the club...


And Marco is a Rome-child, so he wanna get back someday again, i think!

I think that it would be the best if the Parma fans could be turned to star players! We - the fans have the biggest loyalty to the club, we would never leave Parma! Players are coming and going but the supporters are always staying!!

Loyalty to club these days just doesn't exist. I think it goes both way for the club too. Coaches get sacked, players get swapped, players leaving and we the fans just watch helplessly.

I think DiVaio does earn my respects in terms of what he has done this season. If he wants to leave let him. I think every player uses their club as a stepping stone anyways. They balance the financial gains or some times playing time for their decision. Its just too bad that Parma doesn't command respect and I can understand cause we don't have a rich history full of cups and medals so we see players leave to other clubs looking for glory. I don't understand why we have to sell these players to our rivals, why can't we sell them abroad??? Ok, so its demand and supply and probably Tanzi is thinking in terms of who will pay the most.

Next season looks promising with influx of young players and I hope that we will keep these players and not do a fire sale when these players mature.
