Modena 2-1 Torino
Torino’s run on the promotion zone stumbled following this last-gasp defeat at fellow play-off chasers Modena. Mattia Graffiedi opened the scoring for the Canarini when Cristian Bucchi’s free kick came off the bar and he was first to pounce. Giampaolo also hit the woodwork for the home side and Centurioni couldn’t quite turn in Bucchi’s assist. Nonetheless, Toro equalised five mintues from time and looked set to snatch a barely-deserved point with Stellone holding up the ball for Abbruscato’s strike. It still wasn’t over, and in stoppages Bucchi set up Asamoah’s right-foot winner.
Scorers: Graffiedi 16 (M), Abbruscato 85 (T), Asamoah 91 (M)

I was away, hence the late response. The result is unfortunate, but it still looks as though we can secure a playoff spot at the very least. Eight points on Catania is going to be hard to make up, but at least we are only two points behind Mantova and Cesena, so even if we don't catch up to Catania, we can still pass those two teams, and finishing third would seed us higher in the playoffs. We can do it, we have a fairly easy sechedule for the last six games of the season. Verona next week and Brescia in Week 41 look to be our toughest tasks. If we can secure some form, we should be able to handle Avellino, Triestina, Rimini, and Cremonese. The other schedules of Catania and Mantova look roughly equal to ours in difficulty, and Cesena's is not that much more difficult. This could really come down to the final few matchdays of the season...an agonizing time for me and all the other Toro fans. :scared:
