This is why i always questioned FC Dallas organization. What the hell is Shea(manu team is interested in him) and Ibrahim doing getting no minutes. Its like they have no ambition to play young starlets and help build up youth. And from what i heard about theses kids from the FCD fans is that they could have been fighting for a starting spot. But, instead of playing these kids who can make an impact they have lone deals with teams in Brazil, whose youth players take up these kids spots. I think Ibrahims showing last night, is proof that American youth soccer is getting better, and it just seems like MLS teams are helping to stunt it. Dident we learn already from Altidore, adu, etc. Play the young guns! They make MLS more exciting

I tried to watch a game a few weeks ago, and it disgusted me so much that the two "top" MLS clubs could suck so much. I'll give it another shot in a year and see if anything gets better.
:howler: utter shit, the style of footy is shit. That's why Americans don't like footy, cause they think this is what it is, they don't understand this is shit compared to the real thing

I'm wondering what game you watched that was so bad.

The vast majority of the games I've watched this season have been very exciting. The league has improved greatly over the past couple of years.

Exciting is worlds apart from quality. As a three year old I use to play some pretty excitin matches. As I grew and learned more about the game, exciting also changed. Be negative torwards the MLS if you wish it good, its the only way it will get better.

brrr.. well listen
in Serbia Football is our TOP sport no doubt
the country is 8 million people
We have multiple world basketball championships
Waterpolo championshiops, handball, tennis (worlds top 2 female tennis players, worlds no 3 male), 100+ athletes in the olympics, the only sport that isn't important is baseball witch nobody plays
I can't say for the whole Europe, but Serbia dominates in American Football as well in the Central European Football League, so thats a rising sport as well
It's not like we only focus on Football, so take that for what its worth.. same can be said for most European countries

Please clarify that you are not talking about MLS, but rather the American teams in MLS. Visiting BMO Field for a game is an experience to remember, as countless people have attested to.

I hope that's a joke, as the Chicago crowd were absolutely crushed on Saturday by 140 Red Patch Boys + U-Sector travellers. The only audible singing was the American anthem which the TFC fans stayed quiet for. The rest was 90 odd minutes of being drained out by our impressive collection of songs. :)

Toronto ain't that great. DC and Chicago have just as good of environments.
Getting a little tired of everybody forgetting DC so thanks for that. Don't really think Chicago's environment is on the same level. Just watch the DC/Chivas Guadalajara game this weekend and you can see a great environment.

Josh, give it up. Toronto's wasters got nothing on DC fans.

CM, tell me you saw Velez's error on Saturday to cost us the game late. Absolutely ridiculous man.

The turf fields is one of the things that annoy me about the MLS, not a big fan of it, as for the games, they are quite decent. It's not back and forth stuff but still there are some good games

About fans, FC Toronto, DC United have excellent fan bases. Red Bull NY does too, but playing at Giants Stadium hurts, it's never good playing in a 90,000 capacity stadium when even when you get a decent crowd it looks empty. Also it doesn't help that the NJSEA (New Jersey Sports Entertainment Association) take all the fun out of going to the games, they expect you to sit their for the entire match, but thankfully when Red Bull get their new stadium I don't think they'll be coming along :D
