wow, nobody answered to you? this is not fair, guys.
well, do not really know why dugarry has not made it in milan, it was a very bad time for us a lot of players failed
by that, I think dugarry also played not so good at Barca, maybe he is not a player for a strong league
kluivert had a lot of private problem (car accident, rape accusation) , then bad season for all of the team, fans getting impatient, whistle at him, cause he played not good, so he played worse - a kind of vicious circle. he scored "just" about 8 goals I guess, and fans expectet him to be a new van basten, so... a lot of unlucky factors made kluivert fail. The next season should be a new start, but he seemed to fear the competition with bierhoff and decided to leave Milan. well, thats it.
baggio was not sooooooo bad, but he has not made it in Inter, too, after playing a great season with bologna.

PS: Hope you return here to read this :). I do not like Inter too much, but have no prob with Inter fans, just humans (and soccer fans) too :D

Why only point out at players who didn't fare well (Dugarry, Kluivert and Baggio) ?
Actually there's many many more players that excel in Milan than those that failed. Just look at the legends AC MILAN produced.

anyway, Dugarry: he is not that good, frankly. he is not meant for world class teams. he simply is not world class material himself...sorry to say that. His spell in Barca is also a major flop. In the french team... he is only a second fiddle. and for ur knowledge...the current french strikers are not that good (besides Henry-improve a lot).

Kluivert too bad...i always have faith in this guy. but he was in very deep **** and was in his darkest period. it's too bad, fans losing patient on him...anyway, it's a gain. Milan got him for free.

One thing i always wonder is how come top teams (except Juve for some time)don't have the courage in Baggio. He simply is magic but not very much utilize..especially after his penalty blunder in US. Everyone never forget that. and remember, a.sacchi was in charge at the moment. by the way, he is not finding life easier either in Inter, rite ?

but one thing, Milan raises more champions over the years than to spoil talents. just look at the courage the management have right now in gambling on young italian blood. i mean how many italian teams plays italians (young) in their first 11 nowadays, (besides the lower teams of course) instead of loaning those players out and sell them later ?.

It's for the same reason that we will now give Comandini for ******* :( :( :( . Galliani is not a person to be engaged with football, I question whether he can tie his shoes alone or someone's got to help him.
I also question how we bought Shevchenko, probably to exchange him with another ******** or ***********.
PS: Somebody stop that MAD guy allowing rumors from the sort of Comandini or Coco. That's what you get- a young team-SURE. :( (******* for Comandini this is my worst nightmare, what is happening with this guy)

Well this one is just my observation...
Actually some big names have failed in Milan and when they moved somewhere else, they play well in the new club. Examples : Kluivert, Ziege, and perhaps Dugarry.
On the contrary, Milan have created stars as we all know.
So it seems that some big names just can't make it in AC Milan, for some reason or another. Some of them didn't perform that well because they were quite often benched while some others just couldn't fit the tactics (could be the reason for Dugarry)...It's rather complex.
But that a player flops in a club doesn't mean that he's for sure a bad player, IMO.

Ehm, Ziege failed b/c after his injury he has never been back in form like during EC96. Ziege now is a bad player, he was it at Milan, he is no more a player for a big club (hey, what is Boro).

It's just not fair for players like : Reiziger, Dugarry, Bogarde, Kluivert, Davids. They played for Milan when the team was unstable.
The previous coach (Sacchi and Tabarez) before Capello took over after coming back from Madrid failed to keep the team in the peak performance after being left by Capello. That's why even when Capello came back from Madrid and bought those players, he failed to bring them up to the top level again.
I guess that if Milan buys them now, it will be a different story, they will do a lot for the team since right now, Zac'performance is not rally that bad and the teamwork is getting better and better.

Bogarde was, is and will ever be a looser. With the others, I could agree.

No prob, Interfan, feel free to come again and ask question about our club. Maybe we can convert you to the "good" side of the Italian soccer capital :D :D
