(Maybe this could be made into a poll? I don't know how to do that)

Which team do you think made the best improvements during the winter break?
Of course everyone heard about Fenerbahce's signing of Anelka, but teams like Konyaspor, BB Ankaraspor and Ankaragucu made some major changes to their squad.
A list of all the transfers can be found at http://www.turkish-soccer.com/ by clicking on the "More info 2004-2005 1.Super League." link, then "Mid-Season Transfers"

This is all subjective of course. Fener got what they hope is the last piece in puzzle to bring Uefa Cup, Turkish Cup, and Superleague championship glory!
Some other clubs made changes to avoid relegation, while others made changes for future seasons.
Who did the best job?

I'm inclined to say Fener..

It's only Fener and Besiktas who stayed focused on what they needed, and only made the necessary signings. Both let go of the appropriate player/s too (the loanings out of Mo Suleymanou & Serdar is a great move for BJK)..

I choose Fener between these two because I feel BJK had a lot more deadwood in their side they could've gotten rid of, and because signing Anelka is a major coup that Ahmet Dursun and Koray just can't compete with.. BJK could also have done with bringing in Ümit Aydin and Okan Koç instead of loaning them out to different clubs..
The only (possible) negative I can see from Fener is that the Semih to Vestel Manisaspor loan deal may have fallen through..

Trabzon was quiet but effective as well. Got rid of useless players, and signed a defender and midfielder to add depth to the squad..

GS made a few good signings, but other than Petre, their 'out' column isn't convincing.. Players like Ümit Karan, Saidou, Balic and even Suat are quality players who all seemed to leave because their coach has some sort of complex..

Of all the other teams, the only team who made intelligent moves was Konyaspor, who signed 4 quality players, got rid the useless, the overpaid foreigner, and captain Zafer's personal punching bag (even though I thought Okan was the more innocent party there). They deserve a mention, and are definitely the best of the rest..
