MEXICO CITY (AP)— Chilean defender Reinaldo Navia scored the match-winning goal in injury time Sunday as America beat Monterrey 3-2 in the fifth round of the Mexican league.

Argentine forward Oscar Ariel Gonzalez and Chilean Ricardo Rojas also scored for America at Azteca Stadium while Elliot Huitron and Sergio Perez had twice given the visitors a one-goal lead.

The Jaguares of Chiapas and Chivas of Guadalajara have the most points in the league, which is split into four groups, with 12 each. The Jaguares topped Puebla 3-1 while the Chivas beat Morelia 1-0.

Jose Damasceno "Tiba," Brazilian Didi and Paraguayan Sebastian Pereira scored for the Jaguares while Jair Garcia got one back for Puebla.

Miguel Sabah netted the lone goal for the Chivas with a header in the 78th minute.

The Jaguares lead Group 3 while the Chivas top Group 4.

Group 1 leader Toluca lost to Queretaro 2-1. Argentine Carlos Casartelli and Carlos Ochoa scored early goals to hold off the visitors while Israel Lopez got one back for Toluca.

Toluca still has nine points, three more than Pachuca, which was held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Necaxa.

The Pumas, which lead Group 2 with 11 points, doubled up Atlante 4-2.

Argentine Bruno Marioni scored two goals for the Pumas while Jose Luis "Parejita" Lopez and Brazilian Ailton da Silva added the other two.

Atlante got a pair of goals from Chilean Fernando Martel.

In other games, it was: Tigres 3, Irapuato 1; San Luis 0, Veracruz 0; and Atlas 3, Tecos 2.

The match between Santos and Cruz Azul was postponed because Santos is traveling to Brazil to face Cruzeiro on Tuesday in Group 3 of the Copa Libertadores.
