Meet the Opponent: Red Bull Salzburg

Taken from their official website:

FC Red Bull Salzburg finished last season off taking their seventh league title and lifting the ÖFB Cup for the very first time.

The Red Bulls finished their season with 68 points, a goal difference of 60-30 and a six-point advantage over Rapid Vienna at the top-end of the table.

Jakob Jantscher and Stefan Maierhofer were the league's joint top goalscorers with 14 goals each. Jantscher also took the accolade for Bundesliga's 'Player Of The Season'.

On the European stage last season, FC Red Bull Salzburg won their UEFA Europa League Group Matches with a memorable 2-0 win in Salzburg over PSG and a 3-2 away win against Slovan Bratislava, qualifying along with eventual finalist Athletic Bilbao.

They've started this season off with a bang scoring 10 goals in 2 games.

They won 5-1 over FK Austria Wien, who came first last season, I don't know if it was lucky or not, but they also beat SK Wiener (lol) Neudstadt 5-1, so yes 10 goals in 2 games is impressive, they morale and team spirit might be high, and there attack must be sky happy over the moon this season, Fenerbahce must be careful of them today, however it's a different contrast to league that Red Bull play in, but either way I'd try and make sure Feners defence was on the red alert tonight.
