VS.

Venue: Kiryat Eliezer, Haifa

Kickoff: Today, 19.00 Local timezone
Referee: Shai Shitrit

Haifa starts the third round with the easiest game on paper, at home against relegation battlers Hapoel Kfar Saba. Kfar Saba have been unlucky for many matches this season and ever since Ohana got the job they look even better, but looks like even their luck has given up on survival. They won't be a walk in the park but it will be a surprise if Haifa doesn't win comfortably. Having said that the last game between both teams a few weeks ago ended in 1:0 by an own goal only.

Last week Haifa had troubles beating Netanya until the late minutes when substitute youngster Ben Bassat got an equaliser and grabbed a penalty kick as well. Kfar Saba lost a 2:0 lead to a dissapointing draw with Ashdod. Both teams won in their cup games in midweek.

Probable Haifa lineup:

Davidovich, Saban, Olarra, Benado, Keisi, Tal, Dircau, Boccoli, Zandberg, Colautti, Arbeitman

Refaelov and Ben Bassat are expected to come on as subs again.

Deep into injury time, Oren Nissim scores from a Samuel Yeboah assist - Yes, that's right, the score is 1:1!

Final score:

Maccabi Haifa 1 (Michael Zandberg 38) Hapoel Kfar Saba 1 (Oren Nissim 90+3)

Maccabi Haifa lost their first home points this season, against the last ranked team of all teams!... As frustrating as it is for Kfar Saba the score is unlikely to make any difference for either team in their current position but who knows, Kfar Saba might pull off a sensational last third just like they did today.

well the score is final and we drew against the last place team in the league, but they didn't deserve that goal, Haifa had so many shots and Kfar Saba's keeper saved many! Rafaelov and Arbietman are 2 youngsters who we'll see alot more of in the future. I can't believe Colautti missed that one shot that Arbietman passed him. Idan tal had that beautiful chip from outside the box that almost went in but the keeper just tipped it up, if that would've gone in then it would've been one of the greatest goals this season
