Really don't know what is happening to Milan, they've change ownership, management, and even coaches but still problems persist and they seem to get worse with every passing season. During the summer they've lost a few players on a Bosman as they chose not to renew their expiring contracts, including Zapata, Strinic, Bertolacci, Abate, Jose Mauri and Montolivio in turn saving alot of money on the payroll and reinvesting that into new promising players like Leao, Hernandez, Duarte and Bennacer. So on paper, the team has been strengthened as the core of players remained and more players were added to the team. Not playing in Europe should've been an added advantage too, having more time to rest between matches and more training sessions to implement the required tactical plans.

A lot of Milan's performances and results came due to childish individual mistakes, basic errors and sometimes negligence from players. I believe this is down to not having a real leader in the team. Or even a strong figure like Gattuso to keep players in check.

Enough of Milan, this is what Sarri is expected to lineup tonight:

This is probably the sexiest team Sarri can go for (only Dybala missing from making it a Football Manager team).

Costa is fresh from scoring THAT wonder goal, while Matuidi. Cuadrado and de Ligt were completely rested.

With all those players on the pitch there is no excuse not to create a lot of chances, score a lot of goals and win the match.

The only worry is that the team could be exposed defensively.

A win is a must before the International Break, to stay ahead of Inter who beat Verona last night.

They have people named Duarte, Krunic and Bennacer starting for them, names that make me just go "who?".

For us I guessing we not gonna risk Ronaldo tonight, and for love of God stop starting Bernadeschi or Khedira. I genuinely hope the Ramsey starting at RCM is true, tired of only seeing as AMC option, we need the extra ability further down, and Costa starting is fap worthy. Hope both stay healthy, our season rides on them more or less due to who their alternatives are.

GdS updated the predicted lineups now with Berna and Bentancur in place of Costa and Ramsey :cautious:

Does it even matter who you line up? Your second 11 is stronger than Milan at the moment. So relax, you winning this.
Like Douglas Costa said, Milan is Milan, they should always be respected. That's why I believe Sarri should play the strongest team possible, after this there is the International Break.

Beautiful goal by Dybala to close the match and bring the points back home,

Hope Cristiano's injury isn't serious, luckily there is an International Break for him to recoup.

Szczesny with a massive performance, great reflexes and saves to keep us alive.

Szczesny 8 Made THAT save to deny Piatek, along with a string of saves that denied Milan.

Cuadrado 6.5 Very confident with the ball, an attacking force going forward while strong defensively, couldn't ask for much more.

Bonucci 5.5 Made a number of good interceptions but also one fatal mistake that could've been costly with the free Piatek header, distribution of ball was also off.

De Ligt 6 Looking more and more confident with the team. Could've received an early yellow card for a rough tackle.

Sandro 6 Solid performance though I always expect more from Sandro.

Pjanic 5.5 Not the best of matches for Mire with alot of misplaced passes and wasted corners/free kicks.

Matuidi 5.5 Always appreciate his energy but doesnt bring much going forward.

Bentancur 5.5 Was on and off during the match, didn't take full control of midfield.

Bernardeschi 4.5 Another poor performance from Berna, wasting a couple of chances and not doing much.

Ronaldo 4 One of the worst performance from Cris, almost wasting every ball that came his way.

Higuain 7 Worked his socks off, assisted Dybala with the goal and also had a couple of good chances saved.

Subs:

Dybala 8 Brought the 3 points with a moment of brilliance, only negative point was that he was a bit lazy defending when we were ahead in the closing moments.

Costa 7 His electric pace was noticeable, the goal started from one of his moves.

Rabiot 6 Did well when he came on, replacing Matuidi.
