The gift was supposed to be Gerrard or Messi LMAO that Moratti actually thought that he could get one of these two.
I guess the gift is Mourinho because IMO RQ7 is great, but not great enough to be called a centenary gift.

It amazes me that people of Moratti's stature (and this goes for Galliani and Berlusconi too), still haven't learnt to act first and talk later. Talking just raises expectations and there is no need for it if you own a club (vs at Barca or Real were talking is important to get elected).

Who cares we won lo scudetto...even if our centenary signing was a combination of Dida, E.Heskey and Vieri I would still be happy....
well Moratti as said by other members got us Mourinho , the special one is a great gift for the centenario.
He did his best 2 land Lampard n when he couldnt not 4 any kind of shortage by Moratti he landed Muntari n i expect him 2 be a great signing n he will turn out bein another Essien.
Mancini from Roma , this is a good deal too , u affected the opponents by signin one of their key players n u added a quality winger to ur new 4-3-3 formation.
Ricardo Quaresma , this one is a beauty , RQ77 has what it takes to add the amount of creativity we need on the wings , he can play both wings n both sides of his feet , fast , skillfull n young.
I think after all our transfer market wasnt crowded but is great n we didnt make many additions cause our team didnt need much additions or changin in the main structure of the team.
