haven't heard much about him lately, the Croatian media were reporting on his matches for about his first 2-3 weeks then they stopped. I have also read a rumour that he might be returning to Hajduk Split in the summer. How has he been doing?

in Croatia or Saudi Arabia? In Croatia he always played for Hajduk Split. In Saudi Arabia he signed for Al-Ittihad in the summer because they had a Croatian manager and he promised Carevic that he would be playing in a "top European" league in a few seasons.

He no longer plays for Ittihad. He was offloaded to a Qatari club, don't remember their name.
