Maccabi Haifa are almost Champions

.....with 3:1 over Ironi Rishon with goals from Zutautas, Badir and Sevillia, Haifa opened a 9 points lead over 2nd place Hapoel Tel Aviv with 3 games to go ...

The only sad side of the story here is yet another fans who broke into the pitch just like last season with one fan being hurt.

They now say 6 fans, and Haifa are champions already, they got a mutch better goal diference and they wont lose 3 games

Well there is no way that Hapoel Tel-Aviv could turn the scenario around. They did a great season and represented Israel at the best way possible. Toda lach Hapoel. but IMO who really deserves the league title is Maccabi Haifa the most consistent of all. Congratulations to the greens! They had the best squad I just hope there won't be an exodus from the star players since we want to see an Israeli club finally in the Champions League.

unfortunately hapoel tel aviv isn't costantly enough.
(1:1 against maccabi natanya, 2:2 against hapoel beer sheva, or 2:4 against Ashdod), that isnt enough to be champion.
also maccabi haifa isnt perfect!!! (0:4 against maccabi kiryat gat at home). i hope hapoel tel aviv do it next season, in the league and in the uefa cup......
