Lupoli aims to return in four weeks

By Richard Clarke

Arturo Lupoli is aiming to be back in the Arsenal Reserve team in four weeks.

The 18-year-old Italian striker, who last played for the second-string on February 27, has injured his foot. It is expected to take him two weeks to recover and another two to regain fitness. The Reserves play their last game on April 25 at West Ham so Lupoli, winner of the Carling New Talent Award for his exploits in the League Cup, might just make it.

“Arturo’s had a scan on the bone in his foot and we haven’t had the results yet,” said Banfield speaking on Monday. “He got a whack in training and I think it’s just bone bruising but we’re having it checked because it’s a bit sore at the moment."

So the rumours have been wrong then. Or we simply lied not to let him go to Derby or Brighton :D. Anyway, glad to hear he's gonna be alright
