Looking ahead to Liverpool - Southampton

Striker Robbie Fowler, out for most of the season with a serious ankle injury, is likely to return to the Liverpool starting line-up after a substitute appearance in midweek.

Liverpool have failed to score in their last three games and Michael Owen, who has looked jaded in recent matches, is likely to drop down to the bench.

I think our midfield have been crap - totally outplayed in two consecutive games but the likes of Wise and Lennon.

If the midfield can't even spring two passes together there is no way our strikers will score, no matter how good they are. You can't expect Owen to dribble past the defence and score a goal every week.
