"Lomano Tresor Lua Lua saw his African Nations Cup dreams hit as the Democratic Republic of Congo were beaten in their first game yesterday"

Lua-lua has been a great contribution to the team since joining, and has a lot of potential. Take it this wont mean he'll be playin for France or England then.

"but the chances of the former Colchester man's country continuing through to the climax of the competition have now been dealt a severe blow - meaning he could return to St James' Park sooner than anticipated"

Another future hero for the club. We got a great batch of youngsters. Something that is essential if we're to compete with such clubs as Man Utd and Leeds.

I saw the highlights on the BBC & he looked very impressive, although a bit on the greedy side. Can't help him though, seen as he is the 2nd most talented player in the DR Congo side by a long way, behind Nonda of Monaco. Looks really promising, a pity the rest of the Congans looked poor.

He certainly should be a good player ...

considering the amount of money we forked out to Colchester for him.

He is a bit of a luxury though - he comes on and shows a lot of creativity and some tricks and touches but tends to disappear alot in this early stage of his career. Hopefully his work-rate will improve.

Will never forget the through-ball he served to Robert at Highbury though ;)
