What kind of eye test do referee's get?

I'm starting to worry that if proper eye tests arent done we will soon see one of these guys one the side line.

Id say in any given game there are AT LEAST 2 wrong offsides calls... its at least 1 per half in EVERY game...
Wasn't it recently proven by scientists that the linesmen's job is physically impossible? I remember having read about it a while ago. Apparently it's impossible for human eyes to simultaneously look at the player who passes the ball and at the players who wait for the pass upfield.

That's right, the linesmen's job is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to perform flawlessly. Is the high number of incorrect offside decisions really that surprising?

yea I read that too in some article.. can't remember where... but yea it IS impossible to look someone on the half field mark and someone in the penalty area at the same time... that some 30 yards yards.. theres no way to see both things... Theres gotta be a better way to do this- OR they should actually give the advantage to the attacking team, which it seems THEY NEVER do.

What other sport has to deal with such consistent bad calls?
