Player to watch out for
Personally I really like to see Baptistão and Lass play, but Trashorras and Piti are very important too.

Conclusion
On this last round in Primera there's nothing at stake anymore, both for Rayo and us. I would consider the away game in Vallekas among the best we could get, we're always welcomed very nicely and normally many Athletizales visit this away game, which isn't regularly on our schedule as Rayo played a lot of years in Segunda and even Segunda B.
This season Rayo are doing much better and were even in the European spots, but if I'm not mistaken because of their finances they're not even welcome in Europe.
Both Rayo and Athletic are attacking playing teams, Rayo for sure won't lose their last home match but will give space away at their back which is something we like, so I expect a draw with some goals ;).

Aupa Athletic! :fero:

My prediction: 2-2

Bit of a dead rubber alright.

Aritz off...ridiculous but we're had problems with Fernandez before..he wants to the centre of attention...not the game or the players.

Rayo in Europe..****ing joke for a ****ing joke of a club.

Completely pointless club.

According to a previous post by Knoert which can be also confirmed in this link( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012–13_La_Liga#League_table ) rayo won't be allowed to play in europe. They are excluded.

In opposite to many other Athletic fans, I really can't stand Rayo, such a disgusting club, disgusting divers, disgustingly supported by the refs against Athletic.. wah, screw them!

The goal-scorers pre-name is Franco.. pff..

Another red card is poor though...the ref should never be in the position to make bad decisions...we have been clumsy all season long and picked up several ultimate cards but a CF getting two yellows without touching the ****ing ball within 10 minutes is a ****ing joke

well, this wee club were quite troublesome to us,whether we like it or not, from elimination in copa del rey few years back to dropping points which prove to be costly when season finishes.

damn it even IF we win and sevilla and teams above lose,we will have same point as sevilla and then because head to head is one 2-1 win for each, then goal difference will be counted athletic -21 and sevilla +3 before this game week,so ,no chance at all for europe, damn it,we should have really won last week.

I hope for a Sevilla win because I want to see them in EL.
Athletic gave this chance out of its hands last week... our last official match in San Mames.. :(

Perhaps on the pitch, but there's also something off the pitch. Something which counts at least as much for me, because all my personal experiences are off the pitch, and not on the pitch.
With that I mean, if I go to Madrid there's no place I can say I support Athletic, except in Vallekas, you know. It's among a few places in Spain where our fans are welcome and not in danger of getting abused or even attacked.
