For instance, after we won Lo Scudetto, he said that he would just make some MINOR changes to the team, but if you look at what he has done now!
Almeyda, Conceicao gone, El Matador who may leave (just after one bad season).
A 'useless' buy like Peruzzi,(while Luca is still good and is benched now), and way too much payed for him aswell, and while we have got youngster Carini aswell now, who could have learned from good old Luca, and the plans he had with Baronio.

Why change a winning team like this?????????

And also, I think Crespo isnt needed if you look at what we already have:
Claudio, we just needed him upfront, dont you agree?
He can score, he can make great assist to Salas or Inzaghino, and in this way, he can let Salas become the player he was, before Cragnotti decided to dump him, and make Inzaghino better, dont you agree?
I dont mind having Crespo in the team, no way, but he aint worth as much as Parma gets, thats just f*cked up!!


Cragnotti spends money like its water, and if some of you decide to buy a jersey this season, with a players name and nuber on it, DONT DO IT! its useless next year!!

Stankovic - we had this argument about him too, didn't helped a sh**... I think he would do great in starting 11, but nobody cares about my opinion. Conceicao is very dangerous player, so Nedved will have a lot's of problems defending him, and so will Mihajlovic. Michel and you others that are against Cragnotti's transfer mentality, please show some respect for Sergio Cragnotti !
He has brought this club to the highest levels (and I mean the really highest in both Italy and Europe).

How many times don't you have thought that Cragnotti is doing a stupid thing ? but then you have seen that Cragnotti was right !
During his years' as president, he has probably only failed once, he payed Barcelona a lot of money for De La Pena who did not turn out to be what he should. But for the rest, Cragnotti has always been right !
Even when he sold Signori and Vieri from Lazio !!! Something that to me looked like suicide...

Milan won the league 98/99 but for the season 99/00 they stayed with about the same team that won lo scudetto ! BIG mistake !! ok, they ended on third place but were never that dangerous !
A team can't be kept as the one who just has won something, a team has to change some players ALWAYS !
This to find new motivations, new way of playing and new skills thanks to the new players. If you keep the same team, the opponents will know how to beat you because they learned from the season before.

Please try to remember this, a team has to change if you want to always be on top !!

I will never say that this deal is bad, because LAZIO needed a striker. Parma needed midfielders, they got two great ones. Everyone should be happy ! I am and I know AMOROSO! is too
And things are not as easy as "I pay you some more money, instead of giving you Conceicao". Parma is not in need of cash ($$$ - they said so themselves), that's why they wanted players in exchange.


One thing that you should remember is that Lazio is not the only team in the world. Which means that Lazio can't just go to any club and say "I want your best striker" or maybe the best defender, by paying money. The other clubs want something back so they becomes more competitive too, they want to be able to beat Lazio when they play against each other. They can't just sit there with a bad team and a lot of cash looking at Lazio with all the stars from the best clubs in the world. The world of football (at least Serie A) is not working like this.
You want something ? Then you have to give me something away(even if it is something that you really care about) !

If Crespo scores as he has done at Parma, I will be extremely happy about this deal. EVEN IF Conceicao and Almeyda will be voted as best midfielders ever in the world. Because we got what we wanted, Parma got what they wanted. You can't expect every deal to be as good as the Vieri deal (= Vieri injured the whole season. We got Simeone who score many goals and played great on the midfield + we got sooo much money.)

Especielly the thought about the lies... I cant stand this thing in soccer when you say one thing and doing another just after your have give you word about something!!!

I too thought that the deal was bad and even posted a topic on what was wrong with the transfer market but the more and more i think about it the more I like it!

All of Cragnottis buys have been excellent except for De La Pena. Cragnotti brought us up from nobodies and has done great with us so he at least deserves respect Also I think selling Vieri was maybe the best thing our club has done, other than buying bepe of course!! With that money we bought the great Veron (the backbone of the team and worth in excess of $60mil) and also had enough money to buy Sensini and Inzaghi

Also I think you are missunderstanding i dont know if its Mattias or Emir but he never said that Lopez is not world class, he said that he is not a goal scoring machine, hes a segunda punta, he sets up goals nopt score them as he said at his press conference!! He will score maybe 10 but don't expect too much in goals from him!! Crespo - Veron - Lopez were made for eachother!! They are like Van Basten - Gullit - Rijkard!! These guys will be unstoppable!! Keeping Conceicao would have been great but also look at the price that Zenden is coming for, BARGAIN!! The other thing is that Stankovic might finally get his chance at right mid. As much as i love Salas and want him to stay, I can't see him fitting in with Lopez, Crespo or Inzaghi is the right partner for him!! Salas plays good with big strikers like bobo, Ravanelli, Boksic, Palermo!! I think that Crag deserves some trust as many times we have doubted him but jhe turns out right. Maybe this is for his shares as well, who knows!!

About everything being lies, I also dissagree. Eriksson was the one that had told Crag that Conceicao was not for sale but in order to get Crespo Crag convinced Eriksson to let him give Conceicao as part exchange so i cant see a lie there. About the whole team leaving, the ones leaving are only Almeyda, Conceicao, Salas, Boksic!! Boksic for start wasnt the best player and had a falling out so thats why he left. He wouldnt even come to training at the end etc.. Almeyda wanted to leave because of a dispute with Eriksson, he didnt like the rotation system, so thats why he left!! Salas was part of the crespo deal, either as a trade or for money to pay the deal off and conceicao is swap tpo get the player!!

So all in all We have bought Crespo, Lopez, Peruzzi, Baronio, Carini, Colonesse, Zenden and only traded Salas + Conceicao to get the true striker we need!! So also there he didnt intend to lie!! Also when you say a player is not for sale that raises their price so can u blame him? He's just trying to get more money!!
