This match has nothing to do with standings. It's all about pride. To prove once again that Barcelona is Blaugrana. I want passion, agressivness, and total demolition of the pericos.

It won't happen. Instead we'll see hugging and kissing before and after :yuck:

Barcelona play the derby before the decisive CL game against Man Utd. Not forgetting the importance of the European clash, this game is very important for the team too. First of all, it's the derby and the fans always demand a victory against the "pericos". Besides, we can't forget that we need to assure the 2nd position to avoid an uncomfortable playoff next summer in the CL. Our late record is beyond awful... but not worse than Apañol's, who lost 12 out of their last 15 games. It'd be good to gain some confidence before our game of the season.

As much as I want to beat these fvkers, the priority is to let all the players who came back from injury get some playing time. Messi should play 60mn to see if he's ready for Wednesday, Deco should also play from the start if he's fully recovered.

I want to see this:

Zambrotta needs a rest and since Puyol is suspended he replaces him out wide. Marquez and Milito needs to play together at least once before the big day and Sylvinho is our best option for LB at the moment.

I hate Edmilson but Touré needs to be given maximum time to rest. The other two need some playing time.

There's one thing I'm sure of : The Iniesta-Xavi midfield ain't working and it provides no cover for the defense. If small teams can cut through that midfield with ease then you can only imagine what damage a WC midfield like Manu's would cause.

I know Deco will be gone at the end of the season but we need him to win the Semis so I want him to get some match fitness before the big showdown.

not giving key players a rest would be very stupid just because of the rivalry between Espanyol and Barca

Deco should have a full match if he's capable of playing one to be ready for Manutd , I think if he can he should replace or rotate with out of form Yaya for whatever reason against Manutd

this encounter should be nothing of importance you lost the league already so you should give your 100% for the CL

Well, taking into consideration the fact that we have ended every team in la liga's bad run during this year, I guess Espanyol will slap us silly :D

No but seriously, I wan't these dogs put to sleep. No ****ing around, kill them with 5-0 or something and go in strong against United with high hopes and a stronger confidence.

Don't think we should rest our whole starting XI. Deco and Marquez need to get back into the team and they need playing time to get some understanding with the teammates.
