Primera Liga - 2007/2008 [Jornada 27]

The glorious LFP have scheduled our match for Saturday, leaving us only with 48 hours to prepare for this tough game. Barca, who were in CL action on Tuesday night, get the 9pm slot on Sunday evening, naturally. I am not saying there's a conspiracy, but use some common sense you bunch of imbeciles.

Anyways... I guess at least we'll be able to quickly forget the CL exit and ensure we go on to lift our second consecutive title.

RAÚL; "We just have to keep working. We have a league match on Saturday. We may have a five point lead, but we must continue working."

PEPE: "We're very sad, but we have to hold our heads high and continue working in order to win the league and make our fans proud. The dressing room is sad and disappointed. We cannot forget that we're leaders."

Precisely.

We can not forget that we're leaders and must show authority here against a strong rival who has had a whole week to prepare for this game. It will require a lot of mental strength and all of our resources to get the three points. This is an important moment of the season, it will be one of our toughest matches mentally and physically this year but at the same time we can not afford to give Barca oxygen again. The five-point cushion is extremely important.

Sergio Ramos is suspended and RVN is still injured.

Casillas

Torres - Cannavaro - Pepe - Heinze

Diarra - Gago

Baptista - Guti - Robinho

Raul

My morale is so down that if the match was now i wouldn't even watch it.
I hope to read the medical report on realmadrid.com tomorrow morning and see Sneijder's name off the list. If we can at least recover him for the weekend, it would give us some energy and more options.

I don't want to see Baptista start over Drenthe again, hopefully Schuster changes his mind this time.

Shag a girl. It will make you feel alright, works for me.
Guys, its espanyol...
The will give you the 3 points without doing something...

Ya! Exactly, thats why we had to overcome a 3-1 scoreline last season and beat them at the last minute by 4-3... and thats why they were one of the two teams that defeated us in the first part of the season(the other was sevilla). Some of u cules are so bright!
Why do I have the feeling that by the time Ramos gets back.. one of our back 3 won't be fit -.-

I see Shuster using the same line up he used today
maybe Drenthe for Baptista..maybe
and maybe torres for salgado
This team should win every single game from now until the end of the season.

They have no fuking excuse.
same lineup as CL and we will draw/loose this game.
but schuster is on his own ego-trip, he think he's lineup is the best though he keeps get reminders of how stupid he is.
why start MT?????

we should start salgado in wheelchair , thats our best RB ,better than MT+ cicinho
They have no fuking excuse.
sorry we underrate our great coach in this field , he is really good at finding excuse :finger:

trust me if we loss in SAT , he must say "we need rest":dielaugh:
espanyol has been the worst team of la liga in recent weeks. i think it's about time that they make a comeback. our morale right now is so down that im certain we will not be concentrated in the game and are going to lose
There's absolutely no chance Ruud could be back in time?!
What about Sneijder, how much time left for him?

they owe themselves and the fans the performance of a lifetime. how that's possible i dont know only 3 days after roma, 2008 has been a shocking year.

but the boys must move on and so should we. we cant hold them for one game as the performances suggested this was in the offing. however, shit happens, now we have to maintain our lead and try to extend it.

he can touch ball now , should come back in half month i guess

lets pray

half a month!?
oh my god -.-
I'd love to see Parejo get a call up soon then..!
Sneijder trained with the team today so he should be ready for saturday... I see this lineup against Esp.

Casillas
Torres Cannavaro Pepe Heinze
Diarra Gago
Sneijder Guti Robinho
Raul
I don't even care about this game. I'm sure we'll draw or lose.

Good news on Sneijder.

But looks like Real's short on defenders (again!). Both Salgado and Cannavaro might be out and Ramos is suspended.

Torres - Pepe - Heinze - Marcelo
