What with Cerezo carrier in the international competitions? Was he important, well known player of the Brazilian National Team?

Cerezo was a member of the Brazil NT for World Cup 1982 in spain. That team was one of the greatest Brazil NT in history but was unlucky that year. I remember that it was just Cerezo's error which conceded the ball to Paolo Rossi who then opened the scoring in that famous and trilling match which Italy won 3-2 and eliminated Brazil. In World Cup 86, he was ruled out from the Brazil NT because of injury.
