So a decent draw away to WBA last time on the league, which means Leeds remain first on goals and 9 points clear into direct promotion. They came back from an early goal and the game could have gone either way. Both teams look like EPL teams IMO.

Still, twenty games to go, and the combination of the club's and Bielsa's choking potential (plus @Jeffrey 's jinxing here :D) is quite explosive.

They just lost against Arsenal in the FA Cup as well.

But it's Leeds United signature under Bielsa in both matches and the previous season. They start off white hot and then the frailties get exposed as teams start getting physical and throwing them off their rhythm. Also they can't defend anybody on corners. Almost every time they concede a corner, it's a free header on goal.

Apart from that, they don't really have the depth. Bielsa teams run themselves into the ground every game but he insists on working with a small squad and almost everytime his team collapses come the business end of the season. And in the case of Leeds, they don't really have any money to buy players. Most of the team has been pieced together with loans and youth team players.

Yeah it's really textbook, all of it. The Championship might be the worst possible league for Bielsa too -- super long season, very physical, and set pieces are crucial.

IMO losing Nketiah may hurt them quite a bit too, seemed like an ideal sub.

Having said all that, with some luck they may just have enough to make it through this time. They need to secure a top 2, though. I don't trust them in playoffs at all.

Leeds are really falling apart now. 2-0 down at home, vs Millwall. They have only won one of their last 8 games before this.

That was an epic comeback. Some signs of life after being ridiculously out of form for the last month. Somehow still top but the big cushion they had over teams is gone now.
