Lecce will be glad that Valeri Bojinov won’t be facing his former club on Saturday - but Fiorentina will still have a real attacking threat in the shape of Lecce-born ace Fabrizio Miccoli. The pint-sized striker, who was on target yet again last week, is now enjoying his most prolific top-flight season and could add to that tally against the club he openly supports.

Fiorentina have had a desperately disappointing season so far but there are at last signs of optimism at the Stadio Franchi. The Viola were on the verge of desperate relegation trouble but the appointment of Dino Zoff is finally having an effect. The Tuscan club have now collected seven points out of a possible 12, which has slowly started to lift the gloom.

Zoff does have some selection problems ahead of the Via Del Mare trip, though. Bojinov, an £11m January signing, is still six weeks away from action following a thigh strain. Enzo Maresca is still not 100 per cent fit, while Marco Donadel is suspended.

Lecce, on the other hand, are in mid-table security – a comfortable five points clear of the Viola. The Giallorossi are arguably not the entertaining attacking outfit that they were in the first half of the season but they remain a threat. So much so that they were only denied a point at Inter last week after the Nerazzurri were awarded a highly debatable last-minute penalty. Mirko Vucinic returns to the side after recovering from a slight injury that kept him out of that San Siro match.

Pazzini will not start, neither will Rigano. So it's only Miccoli and Jörgensen behind him in our attack.

We need Pazzini or another forward or else we won't be able to make any attacks. So far both Miccoli and Jorgenson had to get back to the midfield to get the ball.

Stovini grande 1 minute before the goal, however he made a mistake later, no problem for Maggio then.
