An extremely important game. We will be wthout Giannichedda and Cesar who are supsended and the rest will probably be tired after the Reggina game, knowing our pathetic fitness level this season. Liverani and Di Canio are still injured. I hope that Pandev will start as a left winger or a trequartista because we have to win. Lequi and Talamonti should play more we can't rely on Couto forever and I hope at least one of them will start.

FORZA LAZIO!

A win is absolutely necessary at this point. The course for the rest of the season seems to be one of fighting to survive, in which games like these are vital to win. Things didn't go our way in the previous games, and now it's time for that to change.

Forza Lazio !!

Couto is also suspended. Good news is that Dabo is back, Di Canio should also be available.

Gazzetta is saying we'll play like this:

Peruzzi
Oddo-Siviglia-Talamonti-Lopez
A.Filippini-E.Filippini-Dabo-Seric
Di Canio-Rocchi

I'd much rather see Manfredini instead of Tonino Filippini and Pandev instead of Seric. Needless to say, you guys are right, we absolutely must win this one.

Is Couto suspended really and channel 4 have just wrongly put him in our probable line-up or he is not suspended at all? I'd rather have Talamonti or Lequi anyway so if Couto is suspended it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

Me too. We shouldn't play with 4 DMs at home against Brescia because a draw won't suffice tonight.

Gazzetta.it says that he is suspended, they normally have these right.

0 Goals at home vs Brescia. Dont we need something up front, why not put in Pandev?
Papa has to go ASAP or else we are going to Seria B.

Report from Football Italia

--------------

The Biancocelesti's dismal form continues with this hard-fought draw at the Olimpico.

This tie had turned into a relegation dogfight following Lazio's three consecutive defeats, as Brescia sunk into the bottom three at the weekend. Coach Giuseppe Papadopulo welcomed Paolo Di Canio back from an ankle injury, but had Giuliano Giannichedda, Fernando Couto and Cesar suspended with Fabio Liverani suffering from a thigh problem.

The Rondinelle also had to make changes with Marius Stankevicius on a ban and Markus Schopp sidelined, but ex-Roma star Marco Delvecchio returned to the Olimpico for the first time since his move and has scored 9 goals past Lazio in his career.

Delvecchio took advantage of a Massimo Oddo error and his cross in to Andrea Caracciolo was cleared by a panicked Jose Talamonti, while soon after Angelo Peruzzi got behind a powerful Maurizio Domizzi effort from distance.

Peruzzi was kept busy in the first half with saves on Delvecchio's header and several long-range Omar Milanetto attempts.

Peruzzi's palms were stung by Milanetto, whose initial free kick was charged down but he got a second chance from the rebound.

Eight minutes into the second half the referee seemed to point to the spot for a Dallamano foul on Tommaso Rocchi, but the official then changed his mind and booked Rocchi for dissent.

Brescia proved dangerous with a counter-attack with Caracciolo, then substitute Christian Manfredini had his shot tipped over the bar.

Di Canio wasted a golden opportunity on 69 minutes when he sprung the offside trap on a deflected Siviglia strike and could only deposit the ball into Castellazzi's arms.

Peruzzi had his palms stung by a powerful Gigi Di Biagio free kick and substitute Dipasquale's header shook the side-netting as the game collapsed into a tense series of scuffles.

Lazio: Peruzzi; Oddo, Siviglia, Talamonti, Lopez (Manfredini 62); A Filippini, E Filippini, Dabo, Seric (Lequi 74); Di Canio (Bazzani 79), Rocchi

Brescia: Castellazzi; Martinez, Zoboli, Di Biagio, Adani, Dallamano; Domizzi (Sculli 83), Milanetto, Guana; Delvecchio (Mannini 65), Caracciolo (Dipasquale 90)

Too bad we couldn't manage to win. Papadopulo's cowardly chosen line-up (4 DMs) didn't help us achieve that.

Laetitia Casta.

And we have extremely low chances against Milan, traditionally we do very badly against them and they are inspired after the win against Messina and Juventus' loss.
