A két csapat közül látszolag a szigetországi gárda gondolja komolyabban.

 clean striker of the ball! how much would he cost around btw and is he a regular in the Hungarian NT?

If he's a midfielder who can put his foot in and who can run a bit, he can come to white Hart Lane in a flash!

he has left dynamo on bad terms, a few years ago when he joined them he wouldn't even learn the language as he thought he would leave sooner than later go to barcelona or real madrid, apparently he started to learn spanish :)
they didn't like his attitude. then he decided to build bridges and started to learn the language and train hard then he became a regular in the starting line up and play superb to a very high level (in the CL aswell. Then about a year ago he got injured.
he has only just got fit again when his contract ran out.

He is currently with arsenal kiev but I'm not sure if he's on a proper contract.

he is not a regular in the NT due to injury mainly, I'm sure if he's fit he plays.

he is the right footed roberto carlos ;)

Talented Hungarian international László Bodnár made the FC Dynamo Kyiv right-back position his own in the second half of the 2001/02 season, playing 18 games and scoring twice, including the winner in an important 2-1 victory over FC Vorskla Poltava in March. Born in Mateszalka, Bodnár is a product of Nyíregyházi FC and made his Hungarian Premier Division debut for Debreceni VSC in 1996/97. He played 63 games for the Debrecen club and helped them lift the Hungarian Cup in 1999. He moved to Dynamo in the autumn of 2000 and was unable initially to establish himself in the team before his qualities came to the fore. They include speed - he is rated alongside Real Madrid CF's Roberto Carlos in his acceleration off the mark - and shooting skills It is not uncommon to see him trying his luck from 30-35 metres several times during a game. In defensive situations he is hard and uncompromising. After winning Under-21 caps he made his senior international bow for Hungary in October 2000. He began to learn Russian soon after his arrival in the Ukraine and can happily communicate with both team-mates and the media in their language.

he will be free,

Dynamo have loaned him for the rest of his contract after he fell out with them.

József Szabó the boss at Dynamo Kiev (hajrá magyarok again  ) said so, and denined he will be going to Roda :D

****

Szabó József a Dinomo Kijev igazgatója kacsának nevezte azokat a híreket, amelyek szerint Bodnár László iránt a Roda JC gárdája érdeklõdne. A magyar származású szakember állítása szerint senki nem vette fel velük a kapcsolatot a válogatott hátvéd megszerzése érdekében a holland gárdától. Bodnár jelenleg az Arsenal Kijev együttesénél szerepel kölcsönben.

and this one ...

TOTTENHAM ON HUNGARIAN'S TRAIL

Tottenham are trailing Laszlo Bodnar, according to the Hungary international's agent Sandor Varga.
Bodnar is owned by Dynamo Kiev but is currently representing, of all teams, the Ukrainian side Arsenal.

The 24-year-old is a powerful, solid defender, who can also do an effective holding job in midfield.

He was in the news when clashing with Wales star Robbie Savage in an international match, with the Birmingham City midfielder accusing his adversary of spitting.

After meeting Dynamo Kiev representatives, Varga said: "I can't disclose too much. We talked about many issues.

"One of them was Laszlo Bodnar.

"Hamburg and Tottenham are interested in him.

"Their representatives were supposed to visit the Arsenal-Shakhtar game.

"Fortunately they missed it," he told UA-Football.com, referring to the fact that it was a dull match.

Varga, who also represents Sergei Rebrov, also revealed that there is interest in Ruslan Rotan.

"I admit that I recommended Dnepr midfielder Rotan to Barcelona and I know they are watching him," the agent added.

A good start for Babos and the boys with a 6-1 win at home  I dont think he could have done a lot about the goal he conceded since it got deflected and was well taken.

Goal for Bodnar with a 25 yarder along the ground (pretty similar like those ones I saw in the videos :D) but it wasn't enough as Roda surprisingly lost at home to Vitesse :veiled:

Feher hasn't played a minute yet for PSV , I think. Havent noticed him from what I seen of PSV. I guess he'll get to play when PSV finally manage to sell Van Bommel.

yes Van Bommel's expected to go there before September. Reason for it taking so long is that PSV wanted him for the CL qualifiers.

HAve you heard about Bodnar btw? :eekani: he's been suspended for 2 months by UEFA since he apparantly reported late once for his old club Arsenal Kiev after an international. A fine would probably have been appropiate but a 2 month suspension ! :wallbang:

Roda maanden zonder Bodnar door 'pesterij'

21/8/2004 16:00

Got the exact story here. Roda have now asked for help from the Dutch FA to appeal against the decision since it was taken by the Ukranian FA so it automatically was taken over by UEFA.

But it all started after the Wales- Hungary game in April. Bodnar did go back to Kiev but asked for a second opinion on his injury so he flew to Germany to later have treatment in Hungary for it but a person from Dynamo Kiev also flew with him to Germany.

Arsenal Kiev , the club he was on loan to , said they knew nothing about it and protested against the Ukranian FA about Bodnar being away on the grounds of "breaking ones contract" in July , 2 months after the incident !!and subsequantly he's now been banned :yuck:
Roda (and I too btw ) however think that its more sour grapes from Dynamo Kiev since they lost Bodnar on a free and they're just trying to annoy Bodnar and Roda as much as they can. :yuck: and also note worthy is that the Bodnar wasn't able to defend himself in the hearing of the Ukranian FA and an even bigger joke is that the chairman of the Ukranian FA is none other than the brother of Dynamo Kievs chairman. Nepotism at its highest :yuck:
--------

Anyways back to issues on the pitch, Feyenoord won 4-0 away against Willem II who traditionally have caused us a lot of problems especially away from home, so a great start so far for us  Babos had a couple of saves to make which he did pretty comfortably thanks also to pretty sloppy finishing. Next week we'll play Vitesse away and they too have a 100 % record. Should be a good one :)
