Gajtkowski has so far had just one good season in Polish League. Nobody had known him before. Katowice are rather mediocre team and they were expected to fight hard to avoid relegation this season. However, they managed to qualify to championship group and did quite well there - and it was unexpectedly mainly due to Gajtkowski's goals.
He's a very pacey forward with good flair and solid shooting skills. And he always works hard on the pitch. However, his technical abilities aren't of the highest quality and he obviously lacks any sort of international experience.
To sum up, this guy is definitely filled with some potential, but he has to prove his skills yet. No wonder Austria are interested in loaning him - that would probably be too risky to buy him at once.
