Justice done in the end as the Scottish Football Writers give King Carlos his second player of the year title. While some gloat after being given an award from biased mates for nothing more than an average season the best player in the SPL by a country mile is given the real awards that count.

Well done to King Carlos. Long live the King!

It was somewhere around the £2m mark. According to the BBC it was £2.37m. It's turned out to be a bargain. We should make quite a bit more when he moves on but I hope that is not for a long time.
